I assume in most cases with pleb defendants, the problem doesn't come up too often because counsel strongly advises the person that making GBS threads on the judge relentlessly isn't a very wise move strategically.

The judge and the DA are public figures, and it's harder to restrict speech about them. None of the gag orders have restricted speech about the judges themselves or the main prosecutor (DA, AG, special counsel).
