A condo describes the ownership structure, not the design of the building so an apartment building can be condos, rental housing, or a fun weird thing called a co-op. There are also hotels that are condos, office buildings that are condos, sometimes free standing professional developments where there are like dental offices and M.D. that share a parking lot and overall design are actually condos. Some townhouses are condos, some aren't. There are even storage condos, say if you have a lot of expensive art and you want to control the space but not deal with security and maintenance of the building, you have a safe place that you own to store your extra million dollar paintings, or rare cars or whatnot.

Okay so condo vs co-op

In a condo the ownership of a unit is technically separate from the ownership of the common property, but the common property share and obligation are tied to the property using a covenant agreement. A co-op all the property is owned by the common property company and each share entititles use of one apartment. As to WHY run it as a co op it's usually to do with taxes, and it can also smooth out issues with rentals and mixed use developments(the co-op can rent out it's bottom floor while retaining input on similar uses that might slip through a poorly written condo covenant, such as a nightclub replacing a restraunt that had drinks and live music. Technically the same uses, but might be undesirable.)

Part of the problem is that its very easy to make an electric stove heat too fast, and the cyclical heating makes cooking thin items or items with a sensitive surface difficult. But the only consistent fails I have had are crepes and pan fried dumplings, both thin skins that need a very precise dry fry, that the cyclical heating burns the hell out of.

Almost everything dumb about trading makes more sense when you realize most market actions are applying rules for fungible physical goods markets to stocks, typically the metal or grain exchanges in London circa 1880.

Can stocks go negative?

That's my favorite future scenario.

Stocks are typically only traded for LLCs, which cant transfer obligations to owners outside of very rare legal circumstances. So while book value can be deep in the red, the actual stock is never a liability(common stock holders are often incapable of committing the correct type of crimes, and those crimes actually reassign the liability).

Ether is a massive fire hazard, and most anesthetics eventually block your autonomous soft muscle contractions and you stop breathing.

Though apparently it is genuinely difficult to administer that much to yourself because it vaporisers so readily and you need a lot of it.

The corrupt distruction of public transportation, the use of local GI boards and redlining to concentrate wealth, the focus on over the road transport, the use of urban highways for social control, the list goes on. Regan exists throughout it, the literal iconic of the new man and a big beneficiary of blackballing in the film industry(it very convenient ly let him push out his most vocal opponents as SAG president). Wiretapping is a weird one, as it splits between those who want privacy and those that want stronger executive powers. It's not a party line issue. So you end up with people who normally have lovely opinions going against the idea of feds reading their DMs and normally okay people looking to drum up some bonafides with anti terrorism legislation.

No one said the strikes were unlimited. Both sides have the same amount. That has always been the case.

You have unlimited for cause strikes, and 10 preemptory voir dire removals. So identifying that a prospective juror is a former associate or victim of trump would not count against the 10.

Overnight and premarket trading exists but it's generally reserved for large corporations and traders who have special access. The vast majority of retail traders and day traders don't have access to it. Like, you can't get access to it if you just sign up for a Robinhood account or something and ask nicely.

It's also very heavily monitored for insider trading and market manipulation (general capitalist theory says that the live market corrects price anomalies outside of certain schemes in unhealthy stocks) spiking the price like that right before opening is going to get you some very unpleasant conversations.

How is the goon doing rolling puts on $DJT doing with today's bump? I'm not familiar with how this kind of maneuver works so I'm curious if today's movement is creating risk.

If your selling puts on a meme stock your an idiot.

Buying puts depends on timing and IV. DJT has an IV of 117 points over 2 days (this IV is insane for a 25 dollar stock), and puts command an additional bid up premium over the average IV. So likely with giggling madly while buying the next leg or just holding until it collapses to profitability.

Currently the at the money put with a 2 day expery is a 2 dollar a share premium. That means effectively you don't see profits until the value drops below 23 dollars, and you make 1 dollars per penny under that (options are traded in lots of 100).

I'd argue that the US Founding Fathers really were some of the more forward-thinking people of their time, even if that isn't saying much. A massive empire losing a war to hold onto colonies, and those colonies later establishing a government based on progressive(for the time) ideals, really is kind of a big deal in history. But they were also of their time - they have all the flaws in their thinking that any wealthy white man back then would have had. There's a weird sense of pride in winning a war for ideas that were progressive 250 years ago, and conservatives use that pride as moral cover when they want to turn back the clock, or stall newer ideas. It shouldn't work, but somehow it does.

It is a thing, he just doesn't understand the law doesn't operate like someone cutting you a break in business, where you can turn around and use that like a hammer in similar transactions and abuse that relationship. In law you get what you get and get told to kick rocks, its just that lawyers charge hourly and entirely rely on tiny details so they examine nearly everything. Your lawyer would spend quite a bit of time and money track down how many people bought a particular novelty hat if he thought it would help the case in front of him. He doesn't understand that he (a guy who was president) doesn't get the get out of jail free card, the legal entity (federal official on official business) get a get out of jail free card.

Plus you can add insulation by getting more states to sign on as fait accompli. And it's likely the structure itself would act to shift politics towards the median instead of electoral density.
