Josh is such a big dumb boy who loves running and not being tackled.

Not wasting any time taking care of business after that turnover.

Steelers have a positive defensive drive! Now to catch the punt and not immediately turn it over. And possibly get a first down. (they won't)

Like if they survive off of the helmet grazing the ball while he was out of bounds that'll be some bullshit.

emptyrave posted:I only watch the NFL during playoffs so I don't know anything.. but doesn't that hit his helmet while his body is on the ground out of bounds? Doesn't that mean the ball is out of bounds? Yeah that's the explanation that they didn't give. It looked a little hard to see if it actually did hit his helmet to me but that would be the call. But they said the ruling on the field stands instead of 'is confirmed' so you don't really know if they thought they saw it correctly. Which gives people things to argue about.

If it weren't for that turnover in the end zone and Pickens fumbling the Steelers would be right in this game, which is funny/scary. mllaneza posted:I just saw a new angle on the sideline fumble "out of bounds". After the drop, it bounces, hits the receiver's hand. then bounces the other way. Nobody touched it after that until it was recovered in bounds. Yeah that call kept them in it as much as they still are too for sure.

I thought they stopped him there. Yeah the fullback saved the day there, Allen didn't do that on his own.

hobbesmaster posted:Just returning to the game after leaving when it was 21-0…. Did the Steelers show up after halftime? There was some serious Washington generals poo poo in the first quarter. They're a turnover in the end zone and a fumble setting up a short field away from being tied. It's ridiculous. It feels like the Bills should be winning this by 30 but the offense died and the Steelers woke up at least a bit on offense.

I mean that could have been hands to the face too in theory right off the bat. Good time to be handsy as a CB though, make the ref throw the flag and just don't allow a catch to keep this game sort of going on.

Gully Foyle posted:I don't think even the most deluded Steelers fan thought their team would win today. Hoped, maybe, but not expected. The Bills didn't gently caress up, which is the reason people have been a little bit down on them. The Steelers did (and got away with one maybe). Also the Bills are just better of course, but that was the path to victory if those things had happened in the other direction.
