If you want people to join, you can drop an SOS beacon during a mission. You can also quickplay into other people's missions but it's unreliable right now.

Just had an extremely bugged run with a bug defense mission. Bugs were barely spawning, we killed the set amount literally 5 seconds before the round was over. Then, for some reason, it spawned two pelicans that got in each other's way and neither could land. We ended up pushing one back with explosives and the second one landed but angled up 45 degrees so we couldn't reach the landing bay.

We completed the mission but no one extracted and it said we failed the operation even though we got the rewards. Very strange. I wish I was on my computer so I could've recorded it.

Just a heads up: the orbital laser has 3 uses per mission total. That's why it's so much better than anything else.

Also I had another weird bug today. The host left and I became squad leader so I tried to call in an sos beacon. But after I called it, my primary weapon disappeared. I couldn't even use one after picking up a new one from the ground. I don't know if dying would've fixed it because I didn't trust the pubs to pick up my super uranium.

Starship Troopers. But mainly because bots can be real bullshit. Chargers are way harder to kill than hulks but then the automatons have a dozen different annoying things to deal with. You get one shot from rockets from various sources, from the mortars, from the tank, from the cannon turret. Then there's special outposts like the detection tower, the jammer and the command base with turrets. It just feels way more oppressive than bugs. Also destroying fabricators is hard to do with impact grenades.

I wish chargers didn't have that top butt armor though, they'd feel a lot less annoying if it was easier to chop the butt with the weapons that are supposed to be good at it.

Aim better? A chest shot should kill the small guys, you might be hitting arms. A few headshots also kill devastators and chainsaw guys.

The laser cannon is really good with the stun grenades. You get enough time to easily pop the butt off a charger or blow up a hulk's eye.

I think Darktide spoiled me in terms of sound design. Each weapon sounds distinct and appropriate with meaty bass sounds for the big guns and tinkly mp5 sounds for the peashooters. The gun sounds also change as you near the end of a magazine. It's really well done.

The bolter in this video is what the dominator should sound like and maybe the lasgun for the scorcher. The sickle especially sounds like a regular assault rifle for some reason. I wouldn't say the sounds are bad but there's a lot of room for improvement imo.

Darktide also had issues with large dangerous enemies being unusually quiet though. I think it's fixed now?

The eruptor is really good vs bugs, you can kill everything but bile titans. It's great against spewers but using the laser dog helps a lot to keep small dudes off your back.

Edit: I've literally used the grenade pistol to close a stalker nest. Can't say I've done that with the eruptor, though, but I'm sure it can happen.

The slaps comment was responding to someone asking if the purifier one shotting striders was from before the explosive resistance change. I'm not sure if the current purifier actually does one shot them or not. The s tier comment reads like a joke to me but still, half the weapons in warbond turned out poorly.
