voting for the tie has a gravity to it so in multiple tie matchups maybe the last x amount of hours are just sudden death where the next option to pull ahead automatically wins even though there is still time to vote left. unless you don't want to do that. i should have asked if that sort of thing isn't ideal. i should have figured out if people don't love it before trying to talk about getting rid of something. big error
