This is second hand as I didn't save the video, but one of the guys at my old MMA gym was a grappling corner man for Martin Nguyen against Garry Tonon. He and the other corners in Nguyen's team had ONE tell them "Oops, you're not allowed to corner your fighter!" just before the fight, with no indications beforehand of any prior issues. He made a now deleted Instagram story about the treatment ONE gave him & the other corner men: he freely admitted it probably wouldn't have made a big difference, but not having your long time grappling coach when you're fighting an excellent grappler doesn't help either. Chatri's done quite a lot of dodgy poo poo, which is a shame as there's good stuff to like about ONE, like the Muay Thai with MMA cages & the free Youtube full fights. I'm sure other shady texts were given to Sage's team, but his controlling bodybuilder father was arrested for drug smuggling steroids. Most countries don't like giving out visas to convicted drug smugglers, so his father not getting one isn't a huge surprise. He probably felt like if his dad couldn't get a visa & with the other shady communication from ONE to just withdraw from the fight.
