Maybe like a dark blue base coat with stoney gray layers? I tried that with my stone giant frameworks mini before I got good enough to make it work.

Would nail decals work on miniatures? I think I'm gonna commit to a really silly idea but if that wouldn't work I would have to reconsider. Edit: I dunno why I'm being coy with it. I got the grimghast reapers on the cheap and they look like they are wearing sunglasses and wearing oversized jerseys

I finished my Sailor Moonspire underworlds set! I think they came out very good especially togetherOminous Jazz posted:It all came together. I was getting sweaty about my paint job on sailor moon but I'm very happy with how it came out . My first oath fulfilled!!

Bark! A Vagrant posted:WIP goblin. Debating whether to smooth out the blends on the cloak, or at least the hood, because I think the obvious brush marks end up having a weird sort of charm here. Though my brain might be tricking itself to avoid work. keep it as is, or do the same technique. it gives it a scrat scrobbled quality befitting of a goblin, imo

I got some kroot today and i'm happy with how they came out. I painted the poncho pink first and it hit it with yellow to get that orange. i did the same thing with blue to get the kroot hound that color        And, a disaster! it finally happened!
