I'm no Nebaladingdong, but after seeing his Full Spectrum Dominance minis, I thought I'd have a go.

They're pretty fun to paint for being the size of my pinky nail.

Is there a decent airbrush tank combo for $100? Looks like the iwata eclipse is $200 which is a bit much i think

I think a better question is what would you like to do with it? Do you just want to basecoat primers and all-over colors? Or do you want to be able to do really detailed airbrushing?

Rules! Great model and a really atmospheric paint job. Is that an opr print?

Thanks! The model is from OPR but I printed it at home :)

Trying something new - I like these MCP models a lot, but painting the circles on the shield was an absolute pain in the rear end. I'm not sure the "scuffed shield" look really works, but eh, it was a quick paint job.

So when grabbing some paints I accidentally got a pot of Dawnstone Air instead of the regular kind. Is this still useable at all with brushes?

Yeah the air paints are fine, they're just a little more diluted. Worst case, you may have to do a couple coats, but I actually like it better anyway because it's not as thick.

Quoting this for attention and adding to my last comment.

There is a "trick" with these Celtic knot type designs. You want to paint the entire thing as solid lines first before you split the lines to make the knot appear.

This tutorial summarises it nicely

I hate how simple and obvious this is because I would have never thought of it.
