Oh nice! Dominions is a game I keep buying and never learning enough to keep playing past the first 3 turns. Of course I bought D6.

So as I understand it, putting the slingers line behind but detached and to the left of the warriors line left them open for a frontal attack. If they were fully behind the warriors, they would have been less likely to get curbstomped and lose 18, right? What I find challenging in the beginning is setting up the Dominion. I guess it makes sense to have the dominion strength maxed out, but hell if I know if it needs to be super hot or lucky.
