my favourite part of an operating system is when i don't have to fix things when they poo poo themselves and i'm allowed to get my work done in this respect, linux feels like the adult baby of operating systems i'm sure its wonderful for people into that who are deeply passionate about that, but i am not that person

Yesterday I was trying to get Armbian installed on a Rock Pi S, which is like a Raspberry Pi except it's small and low power. It was all going smoothly until I tried to create a wifi network and armbian-config started making GBS threads errors about hostapd not working. Lol that wifi drivers are still such a hassle in 2024. But also lol that I expected anything different. (and no, it's not a broadcom chip)
