I just went and made my picks in Lockback's thread for round 1 and the one series I feel I have absolutely no idea how it's going to go is Bucks-Pacers. What even are the Bucks, even if there was a definitive answer on Giannis's availability? I feel like at no point since Doc arrived have they been even remotely predictable, they are either good or bad and never in between and never when you think either is going to happen.

DeJuan Blair was good at basketball. He just also was missing a bunch of stuff in his knees that you really need to play basketball long-term.

I was listening to Duncd-On's playoff preview and heard Nate Duncan observe matter-of-factly that JB Bickerstaff was pretty clearly coaching for his job against the Magic. Is that at all accurate? I haven't followed the Cavs super close but thought they'd been turbofucked by injuries p much all season and it was pretty remarkable they remained in the hunt for the division title right down the line. Are they seriously that into contending while they have Mitchell that a coaching change is really under consideration? I ask because Duncan doesn't make too many inflammatory observations and he just dropped that like it was common knowledge.

E: I just realized it's probably more like BIckerstaff can't afford to totally faceplant in the first round, nm kinda.

Lowe said something similar, basically Cleveland tanked to move down to an "easier" first round matchup against the Magic even though it puts them on the Celtics side of the bracket because they are completely hell bent on getting out of the first round above all else.

There are at least 5 role players on the Heat than can beat the Celtics in one game singlehanded.

Zion took the greater part of the season to play his way back into peak form and then got injured the moment the postseason began. Incredible.

Between that and Kawhi having a hurt knee during the playoffs it really feels like they're playing all the hits. What's next, an Embiid injury?
