Kawalimus' sanity seems like a fair exchange! I'm just joking, TFF wouldn't be the same without Kawalimus' hatred of his pretty good coach

It's very annoying that the Panthers signed Clowney for 2 years because it makes no sense at all of for them and it really hosed over the Jets.

I agree, it was selfish of the Panthers to try to improve their team in free agency.

They wasted Luanne on Lucky!

She could of have been so much more but the writers just didn't care!
Best thing in the world for Bryce is the defense to not be able to stop anyone. Put pressure on him to score every drive.

Old pass rushers who are going to check out of the season the second they are 2-5 aren't what they need to improve their team.

I get what you're saying. Panthers need long term investments at the position to pay off and I can see your reasoning with the whole - its hard to get up and run in the snow in silk pajamas adage about father time and athletes but to be fair to both parties - Carolina lost everyone on their roster who they considered a specialist. Gross-Matos hosed off to the 9ers, Luvu took more than we paid Clowney to go to the commies and the giants paid Burns an astronomical contract.

The Panthers needed something, anything in terms of pass rush because before the signing there was no one.

For Clowney its still 10-12 mill a year and you're going to be playing under a pretty friendly player coach, in your hometown and alongside the best DT in the league now that a certain ram has retired. Theres probably worse things for Clowney than to make 20 million being a hometown hero with some solid talent beside you.

Another classic example of “dude who always ended up on my team in Madden”, he was the quintessential blocking TE you had as 2nd or 3rd on the depth chart.

It’s a move for next year too.

You’re hoping you get a lot of development from young players, hit on a couple free agents, draft well, and either you have a high pick for a qb next year or Bryce shows he’s bahahahahhaa I can’t finish that.

Who cares if he goes through the motions this season? We just went through that with burns.

I used to get him and got good at basically making the game do wham blocks, it was great.

When all else fails, there is always a small subset of people who will buy tickets just to see the hometown boy play. At least that's what David Tepper is hoping because otherwise who the gently caress is going to any of those games? "Everyone is super excited to see Carolina's new guard tandem!" is not a phrase that will be appearing in the Observer in the near future.

Panthers still looking like the worst team in the league. And it doesn't seem particularly close, Patriots are the only team that comes to mind who might be close but at least they have a top 3 pick.

Not like they have any other blue chip pieces. Tearing it down to the studs makes sense but giving up anything of value for mccarthy would be an insane mistake IMO. Maybe you can justify it with one of the other three but I would wait it out until next year, even if it’s a bad qb class
