I've always found it loving bonkers that you don't forfeit the title if you fight in another division. Just holding up titles from people who have a rightful claim to a title fight for ego (and money) This maybe makes sense in divisions where the current champion has run through the ranks but not in competitive divisions.

A Passing Feeling posted:"Just coast and cruise to a decision while a wild Ecuadorian man tries to desperately murder you for the next five minutes" was not great corner advice from Big Tim Welch at the end of round 4 and I'm glad O'Malley had the sense to ignore it and just win round 5 instead. is that what they said? I thought it was more along the lines of "don't try to force the knockout, fight conservatively"
