I'm taking an unscientific survey of how much people pay for parking to see USL Championship games.

At Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh, the west side lot for tailgating is seventeen dollars to prepay, twenty dollars (cash only) at the gate. This lot is owned by the stadium and club owner. It's fifteen dollars at the Station Square parking garage and I think in the outdoor parking lot on the east side. It gets cheaper the further away you go.

Public transit is served by light rail and bus at $2.75 per ride, totaling $5.50. You can keep it at $2.75 if you can manage to get back on your ride within three hours.

Personalities within my supporters group insist the parking fees go to the team, and I am very skeptical of that claim. It just seems high, and I take public transit as much as I can.
