I love hot smoked salmon too and turn that into a spread for bagels. mix it with cream cheese, capers, dill, lemon, onions

I've been making my own cream cheese lately, well just farm cheese blended smooth, it's close enough. I mixed some with strawberry jalapeno jam the other day and it was terrific.

This grocery store near me stocks some 5 packs of bagels for 1.50 in the refrigerated section. Whole bunch of flavors. It's almost gruel but you can't beat the price.

I like the rainbow bagels with sprinkle cream cheese because it’s just a regular bagel with sugar on top of it and I am not an idiot for buying into a fad at an arbitrarily inflated price

I like a more savory breakfast so I tend to save the cinnamon bagels for a treat/dessert
