I went to Alphinaud first. I figured, Alisaie is more likely to get into trouble, but if she gets into trouble it’ll probably be trouble that she can fight her way out of. Alphinaud is less likely to get into trouble, but if he does it’s more likely to be “oh poo poo” levels of trouble.

I don’t RP, so backstory and characterization were something I came up with when I set up my apartment/house and had to decide “what kind of place would she have?”

Set up an apartment, imo. It’s a nice excuse to come up with little bits of backstory and characterization without needing to come up with a lot of details. What’s kind of place would they live? If you're leveling dps you can just AFK through all the trash and let the trusts three man it and all you have to do are the boss fights. It's slower paced and more relaxed.
