Shard posted:the most remarkable thing AEW has done is use older wrestlers better than any other promotion before it. Just compare it to the WCW main event scene in the late 90s. It helps that the specific older wrestlers AEW has aren't lazy as poo poo.

Also, as someone who generally thinks Cardona is a fun personality but boring as hell in the ring, he and Edge had a really good match last night. It reminded me of Christian's AEW non-gimmick matches, in that it was mostly simple stuff done with excellent timing.

All Hangman and Perry did was respond somewhat in kind to a blowhard rear end in a top hat coworker who does nothing but complain. Tony should have fired that piece of poo poo after Brawl Out.

The Dasha release stings because WWE made her act like a robot when she's a fireball of personality/charisma in real life and AEW tapped into that a lot more. She'll be fine and it'll be easy for her to find something else, but these reminders that AEW is a lovely American business at the end of the day are never pleasant.

Jack Perry is someone I literally heard nothing about beyond what he did on TV until this Punk thing, at which point every other rear end in a top hat veteran comes out of the woodwork to say he's a disrespectful jerk. Wrestling is just high school. It's worse than hardcore!
