I haven't watched any fights tonight, but I checked Sherdog for results. I thought the TKO Soccer Kick was cool until I read this: Chris Weidman def. Bruno Silva R3 2:18 via TKO (Eye Pokes and Punches) Does this mean someone can get a TKO (Groin Kick)?

I'm highly unqualified to be a judge (which I think may make me highly qualified to be a judge?) but I thought Silva took the first round, the second round was very close but probably Silva despite the final few seconds flurry from Weidman. Given that the eyepokes were enough to cause the TKO to be rescinded and replaced by a points decision, shouldn't those eyepokes also result in a points deduction or do those have to explicitly come from the referee? It seems kind of silly that they were egregious enough to stop the TKO being recorded but that just leads to a points decision where the guy who won was the guy who did all those eyepokes in the first place.
