I can't decide if
1) Gina really thinks the OP is going to have sex with Antonio
2) Gina is just really homophobic and doesn't want Antonio to interact with the OP because of that
3) Gina just doesn't want Antonio to go at all and she's just latched on to this as an excuse (in which case what if the OP really just was like "oh okay fine I won't go"? But maybe she didn't actually think it through that far)

(4) Gina suspects Antonio leans that way and is afraid of competition.

It’s maybe technically not quite fraud but I’m pretty sure that if I pulled the same kind of thing (directly using company funds on a non-approved, cheaper service when a company-approved service was available) in any of my professional workplaces I’d have been walked out the door the day after, let alone doing any of the other stuff he did. He’s lucky he still has a job, period

I was working for a government agency and my training group of new hires were issued government travel cards prior to being sent to centralized training. One of my co-workers immediately used the card to withdraw the total of the expected per diem to hit a local casino, prior to even getting on a plane.

Anyway, they're in management now.

AITA? Standing up at a concert

OP explains that she specifically got tickets for an area where people usually dance, that nobody's been bothered by it before, and that most of the people there were also already standing. But the comments section is full of folks lining up to lecture her about how she's the rear end in a top hat because everyone should always sit if there are seats. And... Really?

Yeah, different concerts have different vibes, but I've been to far more arena shows where people danced in the close seats than ones where everybody sat the whole time. But even if you think that OP is the problem for going with the flow of the crowd and the usual standards of that venue, that doesn't make her the same level of rear end in a top hat as a man who cursed at and put his hands on her because he didn't like her behavior.

Nothing ruins a good concert faster than being made to feel like you have to apologize for taking up space. There's a special place in hell for people like that rear end in a top hat and it has an obstructed view.

AITA for thinking each of my kids getting their own room is more important than my new husband having 3 to himself?

I mean at least have a secret room in your mansion.

We only have the details in the post to go on, and those details include the OP saying they refuse to learn anything on their own, can’t use a hose, and count getting the mail as a chore.

The real answer is just laziness and weaponized incompetence.

I would also bet good money if it’s not a throw away account the poster always has a lot of posts about video games.

Have we considered that they're just an PC from a 90's point and click adventure?

He tried "use" on the "hose" but that wasn't right.

Genuinely curious if she could sue for retaliation:

- She gets permission to go on podcasts but the company says she can’t use their name/brand
- Gets a huge following that’s noticed by the VP, who tries to shut it down
- VP finds out she never mentioned company but suddenly does a 180 & wants her to include it
- She declines & continues on, then HR gets involved & they want to make ANY excuse to fire her

She essentially is being punished for following their rules to the letter because it doesn’t get the company noticed. The fact they were digging into things so deeply to try to catch her “slipping up” was what really caught my eye.

Retaliation only applies in the case of a protected action, like whistleblowing or reporting sexual harassment. Company can fire her, but they don't really have good cause so long as she's performing her job responsibilities which adamantly do not include publicity for the company. So she would still get unemployment/whatever her contract pays out.

It is not masculine to give in to a woman when she did not even earn any of that money. She doesn't work and never have. It's ethically not hers.

Oh, this is a fun one.
