Per the not expecting to live long enough to use a good power thing, I would probably use it early but not if that would totally blow it on a suboptimal use. So it's weighing the pros and cons. If I had such an ability, which I might, I'd play it by ear based on what happens during the day

Or some combo of the above. Just asking the question originally shouldn't be strongly alignment indicative for me, I think.
