'West Wing' was huge. Like 'Hamilton,' it pulls back the curtain on how decision-making happens at the highest level, or at least how you hope it would be. The amount of information Aaron Sorkin packs into a scene gave me this courage to trust the audience to keep up.

How do you all feel about A Few Good Men? I think Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson gave great performances, but find the idea that Guantanamo was a dangerous place where a gunfight could break out at any moment in the 90s to be absurdly funny looking back at it.

I think it's a great movie because Rob Reiner is a great director and the cast is excellent. The writing is hit-or-miss, but when it lands it lands.

Jessup is supposed to look like frothing psycho for acting like his cushy Caribbean outpost is Da Nang. It's a very "system works" movie, but if you can turn your brain off and enjoy the fiction of high ranking military guys being held accountable by the US legal system, it's a very fun watch.
