I grew up playing ice hockey, was really big early (in 7th grade I was 6 ft tall), and also have a gay younger brother (in a red state) who I had to go put people on notice not to bully so I basically was fighting all the time until I was an adult I haven't fought anyone since I was a teenager but I'm assuming I could probably win a fight

the best thing krav maga did for me when I did it during the summers or between sports when I was younger is that a lot of it was training to spar while also having my ear drums blown out by a loud siren or being put in other stressful situations while training/sparring and I don't know if that was unique to my particular gym at the time. the techniques are all garbage.
