Yeah that's a very common outcome of a knife fight, or at least both incapacitated. i've heard that historically, fighting someone who has never fought with knives or swords was regarded as far more dangerous than fighting someone with intermediate experience. You don't know any of the dozens of ways in which you can be mortally wounded and so in effect don't care

e: just saw isaboo post that there are no knife fights, only stabbings now and that's pretty much it
