I’m not sure this Islanders-style full turtle strategy by Nashville is such a smart idea

Maybe if the canucks hit enough Predators skaters with a puck they'll give up and go home.

For a guy who wouldn’t shut up about how much being on a playoff team meant to him before signing, Pettersson is sleepwalking through these first two games

He was invisible game 1 and downright looks uninterested tonight

Nashville just trying the "what if everyone stands in front of the net" strategy and somehow it's working.

I mean, he hasn't exactly been given top linemates. But he should at least be a threat on the power play.

It's about finding that next group of core players we can win with in the next 6, 8, 10 years. Let's face it, it's hard for 20-, 21-, 22-year-olds to lead an NHL team. Look at the playoffs.

Pettersson has the yips so bad right now. It’s pretty awful to see him miss wide open nets and make terrible passes when he should shoot. Nothing the team can do other than have him try to figure it out and hope he does before they’re out

Or maybe he has a wrist injury and can’t shoot anymore

I really do agree with the idea that head coaches at the NHL level need to be motivators/tone setters as much or more than tactical thinkers and it’s pretty clear that Keefe is only one of those things

It's sad how often Leafs ozone time ends up in a shot from a plug defenseman with no chance of scoring. Go PP tho.
