I understand giving Better Than You Bay Bay poo poo, but by the time of All In it was an undeniably hot program! I don't even think that MJF and Cole losing that match was a bad plot beat in isolation. AEW is a company that cares about tag teams, so the tag team specialists should go over the team that's two cool guys who are still figuring things out. But in retrospect no one involved was interested in that story beat (which probably had something to do with Punk being a weird dickhead), so the whole thing was a storyline dead end and it just contributed to Collision feeling like a disconnected b-show.

Omega, Okada, Ibushi, Tanahashi and Naito, when firing on all cylinders, are up there with anyone in the history of wrestling. My lukewarm take is I actually like Omega/Naito in the 2017 G1 better than any of the Omega/Okada matches except maybe the 4th.

I genuinely wish Tony had had the balls to turn the Acclaimed if he's not gonna split them up. Letting BCG be faces could've been fun, and it would've been something to freshen up the Acclaimed's act.
