So weird that I was thinking about Blurred Lines like two days ago and how absolutely godawful it was. I didn't even hear it again, it just dropped into my thoughts for no reason. I agree with goons saying it's not just bad songs to talk about but embarrassing ones. The mention above of the NKOTB is really cutting to the heart. It's really just two categories: "how cool/tough/amorous/important/in love I am" or "I'm an untalented hack" The Lazy Song sucks but it also is a little tongue-in-cheek, and Bruno Mars is talented, so it's not really cringe. Just very bad. Crush sucks because David Archuleta cannot loving sing, but it's also just a fluffy nothing, so it's only kind of cringe. (Ugh, I listened it again to make sure I had the right song name. It's like someone photocopied Jason Derulo too many times.) I won't pretend this is the worst since I am sure someone with even less talent or greater conceit is out there, but I cannot believe this hasn't been mentioned yet: Rude, by Magic! Just absolutely godawful.
