Recently it became known to Conservatives and Republicans that Kathy Boudin, former Weather Underground member who was convicted in the murders of two security guards and a police officer during an armored car heist, was given a teaching position at Columbia University. Unknown to many of these people, Kathy Boudin has been working at Columbia University for the last five years, and she is teaching a class about dealing with life after prison. She seems qualified, since she spent more than twenty years in prison for her crime. The O'Reilly Factor recently discovered this, and the vitriol is spewing forth with such ferocity that you can practically see the flames in their eyes. I guess this is just the outrage machine at work. People are easier to rally if they're upset or scared. After all, now Columbia is basically a terrorist indoctrination camp! It's the good old 'Criminals'/'Citizens' dichotomy, where someone who is a Criminal deserves death because rehabilitation is impossible and they will never follow any laws unless they feel like it, while Citizens mean the best for everyone all the time and follow all laws forever, so placing restrictions on how they behave (i.e. with things like gun control or taxes) is just taking away their rights but will be ineffectual because Criminals Don't Follow Laws. Therefore as soon as someone has committed a crime, ever, for any reason, they should be put to death because they've revealed themselves as part of the Criminal camp and will therefore spend the rest of their life gleefully robbing, raping, and murdering good old defenceless Citizens. Needless to say, this dichotomy is also the dumbest crap imaginable.

He doesn't explicitly come out and say these things, but he juxtaposes things such that if you aren't paying attention, it seems as though he is. I always kind of assume that guy had all the time in the world to get that complicated, horrible revenge because he probably had been kicked out of the Marines for doing some kind of unspeakable, hushed-up atrocity to an Afghan village. Now the dude largely just sits at home, cleaning his guns, waiting for someone he can carry out some "justice" on. He's stopped going to the VA. He's stopped taking his pills. He just wanders the streets all night, never sleeping. The girlfriend part was a lie. He's out there, and anyone could be part of his next chain email.
