During a ceremony to magically drive people to despair. That's a bit different than just having to face up to some of your poo poo being wrecked. Every day there are people who lose poo poo driven to the edge of despair but they manage to hang on. Plus WW is specifically looking for wizards so he might be targeting people who have a better chance of not losing it.

I'm trying to find something new to watch at work. I know everyone hates TV-N's Shinkenger subs, but has anyone tried ShinkenAnon's and can comment if they are any better? They have already subbed up to ep. 32 and it would be nice if it's not TV-N.

They're good and I believe ShinkenAnon is working with OT to re-do the subs. But when you get past the translated eps the change over might be too jarring.

They're weapons too of course but the primary metaphor they use is seriously addictive drugs.

Polished off Gobusters episodes 11 through 15. Between prancing around in a panda costume for shits and giggles, trying to play a tuba when he has no lungs, and straight up walking into some lady's house and converting her vacuum cleaner while she was using it, this set of episodes had the highest levels of Enter so far and I love it. I will most likely shed multiple tears when the Busters off him. Speaking of, Gold and Silver are pretty cool. drat sure they're evil, though. Either that or just plain ~mysterious~. I'll give them a few more episodes before I pass my subjective objective opinion. I bet Gold uses Windows ME.

Well, I mean, the two parter I just watched had the new bad guy clad in black armor end up being Dai Red's father, talk of how Qi-Power and You-Power are light and darkness and the father being tempted centuries before by wanting the You-Power that he lacked as one of the Qi Warriors that he betrayed to go work with the bad guys, an old man who is his direct superior who he eventually betrays to save his son before dying to the old man's literal Force Lightning and his former Qi Warrior companions showing up as Force Ghosts as he died to forgive him. I'm not really wording this well but every time I thought it was Star Wars enough a few minutes later it would be even more blatant about it. Also, I swear one of the villain themes is just straight up the Imperial March for the first ten seconds.
