comeon guys did we forget that echinopsis is from a place where carrier subsidies is not really a thing and almost everyone has to pay around the full price, as opposed to people will pay the same price for any phone including iphone people are too poor to spend more than like 20 bucks per month on phone plans including data the most popular phone is like an iphone 4/4s where the 5s is also available also the most interesting part is the tall poppy syndrome actually exist where he lives hence the fact he is emphasizing the 'rich' part compounding the above points and it explains how you get looked down on if you actually pull out an iphone while you are supposed to defend the fact why you are looking down on anyone with one
