My favorite thing about music anime like this is it gets me to go look up cool music on youtube. Besides that I quite liked this episode. Also for some reason that Orpheus in the Underworld song will forever be associated with that loving fighting foodons intro in my mind. The episode was nice. No one is annoying, it was colorful, there was (a bit of) good music, and Asuka owns.

I can't believe they actually got a band to sound like a high school band i.e. kinda sucky. I can't believe they dedicated the first half of the first episode to the main character immediately pointing this out and dwelling on it. I can't believe they did the learning how to buzz on a mouthpiece thing.
