if you are someone for whom 25k is a huge windfall, it's not like you're going to even pay that much in taxes

how would you even report that? a gift?

no, gift taxes are paid by the giver. i guess it would just be folded into gross income.

if it's really cash from the dude's parents there's a couple tax implications if the parents are deceased and maybe it'd be possible to bundle the money into the initial wealth transfer and oh my god just rent a loving safe deposit box and blend in a thousand bucks into your income once in a while

OR do it the bitcoin way Deposit $8300 cash into your bank, then transfer it to a bitcoin exchange the next day. repeat two more times. buy bitcoins. watch your money disappear. post in r/bitcoin when you get a letter from the irs.

so every character has it's own sidechain and to store data you simply send a multipart transaction that has outputs in the corresponding sidechain so to retrieve data all you'd need to do is hack up a little program in javascript that can collate all the data from the 1,114,112 sidechains

Srsly though its pretty scary to see in action someone not understand that there are varying degrees of right and wrong. the same thought process that goes into believing that stealing $0.01 is just as bad as stealing $10,000.00 could be used to argue that flicking someone's ear is as bad as murdering them.

The logic is, if you lose a penny you report it stolen to the police just like if you lost a huge bag of money, because that's definitely worth your time and theirs. We all know bitcoiners obviously have nothing better to do with their lives than waste everyone else's time so this should be no surprise.
