Trump supporters will go back to not voting and smoking meth.

Also I am more and more convinced that Trump lost Iowa because the caucus was on a Monday, the same night as WWE RAW.

In closing I'd much rather read the tears of Cruz supporters for years and years to come since they tend to be the actual worst people who want to bring a theocracy to America and burn all the gays. Trump supporters are mostly just really poor idiot bigots who are so desperate they are clinging to a Reality TV star to fix everything.

The GOP has already almost completed its mission of fixing the south. We've pretty much run the party of slavery, the party of the KKK, and the party who launched a treasonous rebellion against the U.S. completely out of power down here. And along the way things have gotten better. With the GOP in charge, blacks and whites can now eat together at diners and live together in our communities. Also our police forces don't loose dogs or turn fire hoses on blacks either.

It's pretty great. Stories my dad tells me from his youth, when Democrats where in charger, and pretty horrific. Hard to imagine things like KKK rallies being held in the high school football stadium, pretty disgusting what went on under Democratic control for so many years after the civil war. Sore losers I guess.

This is weak and not at all up to your usual standard.

I just read that Rubio stated at today's rally that he will get rid of mosquitos "once and for all".

Not sure if he's considered the logistics of that kind of operation or even how removing 3500 species from the planet would impact the food chain. Maybe he was joking ... I hope he was joking.

Most of the stuff I've seen about it in the last couple years concludes that eradicating mosquitoes wouldn't have major ecological effects. Have you seen other stuff or are you just Dr Ian Malcoming it?

The logistics aren't insurmountable, it's already being done on a regional level. The consequences might not be as bad as they first appear.

Not to derail this any further but I'm sure there are [respectable?] arguments for and against eradicating a creature that's been in the food chain since the dinosaurs. I'm assuming on a very base level that the larvae are an important food source for smaller fish which are a food source for larger fish, etc.

You could eliminate malaria and dengue fever by eradicating a few dozen of the thousands of species of mosquito. And they don't have such a specialised role that other species can't fill their ecological niche.

I don't know why anyone thought Rubio was done after that firmware glitch before the NH debate. This race is still his to lose, and once Kasich runs out of money, he will steamroll his way to the nomination.

Cruz has extremely good ground game in SC and Nevada and I'm making some big bets that he is going to overperform all polls in both.

I honestly don't see Rubio going anywhere near second until Bush/Kasich are done for, if then. There just aren't enough GOPe voters in these states to split three ways and that robot moment was so bad Rubio can't shake it while Jeb tags him with the rest of his cash.

From the CNN South Carolina GOP poll:

E: there's more!

Would do best job handling the economy:
Trump 58%
Cruz 14
Bush 9
Rubio 7
Kasich 5
Carson 3

Would do best job handling illegal immigration:
Trump 53%
Cruz 18
Rubio 13
Bush 9 ...

Would do best job handling ISIS:
Trump 44%
Cruz 22
Bush 15
Rubio 11
Kasich 2
Carson 1

E: Here's some more!

Best represents values of Republicans like yourself:
Trump 27%
Cruz 26
Rubio 14
Bush 13
Carson 10

Best chance of winning in November:
Trump 53%
Cruz 19
Rubio 16
Bush 6
Kasich 2
Carson 1

Most likely to change way things work in Washington
Trump 60%
Cruz 16
Rubio 7
Carson 5
Kasich 5...

I've seen numbers like this for Trump in other state and national polling. It seems on the issues Trump wins every time.

That's the kind of tracking of the eventual nominee, not a weirdo fringe candidate.
