Just finished 5 and 6. I was basically Sangmin in 5's Scamming Horse Race, and got roped along by Eunjin's lie. Once the lie was exposed everything made sense. Good play on her part, was fun. Was disappointed when the consecutive victory game came back again, a bit sick of it by now, though the excessive montage they gave Changyeop and Jungmoon was entertaining. It went on so long and went through at least two songs, haha. Episode 6 was fun in a bit of a frustrating way. The bigger village basically handed victory over to the smaller group when they gave up the majority in there. But for once, the death match was fun! Indian Poker between Jinho and Gura was great, especially when Jinho revealed his strat of FOLD UNTIL HE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT CARDS WERE LEFT and then force Gura to go all in. Goddamn. It was lucky that he wasn't lucky enough to keep drawing 10s until he figured it out though. Taking a break before going on 7. Addicted! EDIT: Open/Pass. Jinho. Goddamn. Jiwon losing to Junghyun was pretty good though they both seemed quite weak at the game to be honest. More importantly next week it's  Jinho

If it helps, Junghyun and Jiwon are related to each other. It makes Jiwon's defeat a lot more delicious, especially since Junghyun berated him in episode 6 for the shenanigans with the id card.

Season 3, Episode 10 The Dongmin fakeout goodbye montage is still the best. I agree that Jinho's Open/Pass move was one of the top moments of the game, but in terms of the mental manipulation part of this game, Dongmin's move there is hard to top. Just starting part two of the season two finale, this seems like a very fun game. Hweejong made a good point about asking questions your opponent can't answer e.g. "is it a perfect prime?" etc. Yohwan has been super impressive in all of his death matches and it's no wonder. South Korean compute nerds are so much more fashionable than western ones. Excited to move on to season three and see who flits with the female dealer more than Sunggyu. Has anyone heard anything new about the planned Dutch or British versions? Miss the show so much. SPOILERS FOR SEASON 3 and onwards!!! Eagerly awaiting Emmy's reaction to the rise of God Emperor Dongmin and the understanding of why the Korean version of the Genius ended: they found him. Ho ho ho my friend, Jinho has nothing on Dongmin.

Now that I know Jinho is in it all the time I'm hoping Crime Scene always ends with the culprit pulling off a rubber mask and revealing "T'was I, Sangmin, all a long!" I really hope Hweejong isn't sent to the Death Match in the first round. There hasn't been an Extreme Ways yet in the main match so hopefully there'll be one that helps the watermelons e: my boy with the apples bringing it home. In S2 everyone was looking to be rude and mean and just betray everyone I imagine, because that's what the show's about, right? Nobody was really immune to that, and Doohee's problem extended from that. "I'm here to break the rules and betray, so I can just steal his thing and then kick him to the curb again" After that the cast of future seasons realized that they had to at the very least try to be nice instead of trying to out-betray everyone.
