Yeah I wince a little bit every time someone shows off a farm with mostly 1-wide roads. Getting around that must be a real pain in the neck. Plan for 2-wide so your horse can boogie through.

I haven't fully cleared it because partly because I like having a ready supply of wood right on the farm, and honestly I don't know what more I want to put on this farm except for a wind mill (probably in the spot where the silo is) and add a third barn in the animal area plus move the silo down toward there. I guess more fields, maybe a shed or two, and move the well.

Cool, here's mine. Most of my moneymaking is inside the greenhouse (sprinkler fueled strawberries ahoy), the outdoor fields are just to finish up collections and achievement stuff now.

Even though I only quoted the FarmAnimal.xnb code for chickens, it works for sheep, goats, pigs, ducks, and rabbits too. Add as many recolors as you want for any farm animal! I linked a few different recolors, as well as recolors that look like whole other species, at the bottom of that post that you can convert to different breeds of goats, sheep, etc. manually. Winter, Year 4. Currently in the process of upgrading some of the main routes through the farm to crystal paths. I'll probably keep some cobble paths though (maybe make 'em all crystal cobble). I also had the idea of scattering wild seeds throughout the forest pathways. Operation Use Machines As Fences is still going strong. As you might expect, the kegs are in the new shed. Not exactly working at maximum efficiency, but it's Spring so it's not like a big money making season anyway. I'm slowly trying to fill my greenhouse with Ancient Fruit, because I figure that'll be more convenient than Starfruit since I won't have to keep running back to the Oasis for seeds. Shed in the east is the processing plant with all the furnaces, recycling, seed makers and preserve jars. The shed in the bottom corner is a ~spooky haunted house~ because it's not like I'm using the space for anything else. The one south of the greenhouse is my diamond counterfeiting workshop full of crystalariums. The barn above that is Keg Barn.

Do roads even do anything? new save, year 1 fall, I guess I tapped trees too late because my keg production is slow as heck I have money to unlock skull caves so I should probably do it. I have a bunch of unsold stuff in my inventory because I plan on processing it. I technically made a lot more than that already. old save from release week: link What are paths? And decorations? Haifisch posted:Harvey. Judging by his normal dialogue, I assume his marriage dialogue is along the lines of "don't forget to wash your hands after petting the chickens, honey." I actually think marrying him would be a deviant choice, as his mustache is terrible, is dialogue is terrible, and what kind of person would actually want to date and marry him? Poque posted:if you want the opposite of boredom, go for Maru, whose 10 heart event is the single best scene in the entire game. I saw it! She's the one I'm going to marry once I've collected all of the ten heart scenes. She's just so wonderful to be around, and I imagine my farmer will have a grand time bringing her ores for her experiments, and staying up late to stargaze together. Also, I'd share my farm but it's the least optimized thing. Crops by the porch, chickens also by the porch, stable by the shipping box, and a barn in the bottom right corner. I'm working on clearing out more land now, but who knows what I'll do come spring.

The first time I bought some I didn't feed them all winter (I thought my silo was doing it automatically ) or even let them outside and they still grew up. It just takes longer.
