oh hey, another lengthy update on audio, and a detailed explanation of the speed and afterburner changes from 2.5.x. Yet another quality ATV. Also in that proc-gen asteroid segment, the asteroids are rotating way too quickly. In fact, only asteroids smaller than a couple of hundred metres can even physically rotate faster than once every few hours (and only a fraction of them do). Why are they even bothering to make the proc-gen asteroids rotate? Unless you sat and watched an asteroid for a few minutes specifically to see it move, you wouldn't notice it. Because CR doesn't learn from the past, or anything in fact, he just doesn't learn. The asteroids in wing commander (the game) spun like tops so I'm guessing more of the same for SC. It runs at 70-90 fps on a mid-range machine and hangars now load fully in less than 5 seconds. Caterpillar is amazing - very functional. It's pretty much all cargo right now and open from the sides. All modular. Great visibility.
