Love and Baseball ended up being my favorite one because it's just so chill -- there's some fairly serious drama but the way it's treated and how it resolves is low-key; I wish it had been longer but it possibly would have ended up boring because of that lol. Oh I'm dumb then. For some reason I assumed it was HS from the crossover omake in Honto Yajuu. College stuff is totally cool with me.

Basically re-read the whole thing to get the gut-punch set-up all over again. It is a really honest piece and it is a great window into the feelings of mental illness in general, though the devil is in the details with that subject. I don't know if she really got "better", cause it is a process and I've had friends relapse into worse situations after making a kind of break-through but it is nice to think otherwise. Easily the most powerful work that has come up in this thread and I won't feel a shred of guilt if it sits visibly in my library when I get around to getting a physical copy.

It's not even a Japan-specific thing. The fact that a lot of lesbians are into porn involving gay dudes is widely recognised in lesbian communities cross-culturally. Since it doesn't involve women, it doesn't place any expectations on women, which can be a breath of fresh air when every piece of media seems to have some idea of what women are supposed to be like.

I'm a trans guy, who in part came to grips with it via really enjoying gay romance & bl (after a lot of denial, lol). That's not to say that enjoying gay romance media = trans, but in my case, it was a definitely a thing. I still enjoy yuri, but that's also in large part because I really enjoy reading/seeing people happily in love or at least happily in lust. Also because I dated girls too when I was girl identified. I still read straight stuff too, even though I'm definitely more gay than straight. Romance is cool!

Changing the subject, but I sure hope y'all are reading Teen Mom. It's a super cute Thai webcomic about a teen just out of high school who gets pregnant and moves to The Big City (Bangkok) to keep it hidden from her parents, and basically gets adopted by her neighbour and a hospital nurse. In this small sampler: the nurse has taken her to shop for maternity clothes.

Don't remember seeing this one posted, there's 2 chapters now but not a speedy release schedule Tsukumo No Hanashi Guy gets roped into taking over his uncle's cafe (I'm assuming, it hasn't quite gotten there yet) which is full of uh...interesting characters. Good artist/writer team, probably one to keep eye on if you don't want to pick it up yet.
