homeless snail posted:grimoires are probably the best mobile suits to ever appear in gundam, in my opinion. but g-reco in general is very high level Grimoire's aren't a good example of this, but a thing I really like about a lot of g-reco's mech design is that it really uses the fact that robots don't have to only do what humans could. In a lot of mech design, gundam or otherwise, the weapons are either handheld or mounted to the arms, shoulders or maybe chest if you're lucky. Meanwhile G-reco has robots with laser legs and taint missiles and it rules.

reconguista's mech design owns, its characters are really charming and it has a really oddly casual feel for like 90% of its run time and rarely gets into like, really serious hosed up big fights so it's actually kind of hosed up when they happen it's got all of the same stuff that appeals to me about turn-a in half the run time so it's probably my favorite
