The Kimoa Kid posted:It cracks me up that each week the Becky segments generate page after page of argument here but on WOR they're consistently like "yeah, pretty good" and then they move on. It's like the only thing they don't have strong opinions on. Wrestling fans are super negative so they focus on the content people want like Braun Strowman being buried in a glacier. It’s the same reason he doesn’t ever say anything negative about AEW: people who are interested in it are the same people who subscribe.

Or maybe there's not much negative to say about the company that's not run a show yet? I prefer the "Dave goes soft on them because he's friends with them" conspiracy than "he doesn't want to offend his subscribers" conspiracy, though both are dumb. They've said the right things, signed guys that Dave likes, dunno what they have done he's meant to poo poo on about aside from the general questions about sustainability in the long run. Which he's brought up. forkboy84 fucked around with this message at 18:07 on Feb 12, 2019 |

Anyone associated with Death Squad/JRE podcast network is super garbo. Not worth listening to. Except for Joey Diaz. At least that dude doesn't pretend to be a nice or ok person.

he uses his father's email address. dave hasn't been the most tech savvy guy, and probably keeps the same email address for archival purposes

juno as an ISP is gone but its cheap to run old pop mail servers so its probably happily chugging away in someone's basement.

But the bowling thing was very funny.

I was laughing at the carny, and then laughed even more when I figured out it was all a work. On a related note: Seth Rollins actually talks like this. He's on the E&C Podcast from last week, and he's describing his Ring of Honor tenure and he says something like, "I was making pretty good money over there, and didn't have to work a shoot job." Christian immediately laughs and talks over him to mention that he said that, but Rollins fails to notice because he's too busy talking about how his matches were being review on the "sheets."

I feel like listening to him on an actual wrestling podcast would be annoying as heck
