I just put up a patch in my one ceiling and started mudding together and I'm considering hire literally anyone with a pulse on nextdoor to do this instead of me.

Helping a coworker move furniture into his new apartment. He told me the baseboard head didn't work in the bedroom, so I went to check the breakers and.... I told him it's better off broken. And to keep everything of value near the door.

I did such a poo poo slop job of mudding on round one and tape is visible so I know if I go and sand to smooth it out I'm going to start tearing tape and oh boy why did I start this when I need to travel for work this week and have friends staying over the night after I Get back.

Those are giant sheets of drywall. I think when my dad and I did our basement 20 years ago it took at least a weekend to hang everything and that was just a rectangle room. I imagine they could be done in an hour.

Yeah, that stack on the floor looks like at least 16' long. Probably 20', it's almost touching the back wall of the garage, and goes out to the edge of the slab. I don't see a seam in the middle of the stack, so its definitely not two stacks of 4x12. The sheets leaning against the wall are cut down already, I'm assuming the guy working on the stack is just there to cut to whatever length the other guys need to hang. That's honestly a great idea. Probably more waste, but think of how many walls you could do with minimal seams if you were hanging 20' long sheets of drywall. Hell, I'd probably have been able to do the long wall in my basement with 4 sheets instead of 8-10 if I had those.

You can buy 16’ sheets at lowes right off the floor, nothing special there.

Not being involved in the construction industry it takes me some time to process all these horrors. Nothing I've ever seen looks more like a child's creation from modular blocks than those. America- you often criticise shantytowns in poorer regions but this sin against architecture and taste is all on you. May you burn in hell.
