I've been on the wait list to see an adult autism specialist for over a year and I really want that appointment to go through soon because since 1993, people have been accusing me online of taking positions I don't believe and arguing them and I can't even begin to wonder why anybody would ever do that and it's clear they're projecting and that's thing one on a list of a million things I can't understand about ways people behave. I was born three months premature and was deaf through my early childhood and god drat do I wish I had those development times back because poo poo geta super confusing.

I saw Star Wars. I enjoyed it. But it's real dumb lol. But I love the actors hanging out together. You can't convince me that Rey, Finn and Poe aren't in a bi poly relationship living their best life at the end.

Scene: CobiWann and his wife are leaving the movie theater after a Sunday night showing of "Black Christmas." Cobi: ... Wife: ... Cobi: ... Wife: ... Cobi: ... Wife ...don't... Cobi: DEAR SWEET BUDDHA THAT MOVIE WAS loving AWFUL! I get the message they're trying to send, but they surrounded it with a horrible film that has little to do with Christmas, let alone either the original Black Christmas or the 2006 remake. Cliche situations, predictable writing, death by being off-screen, the utter lack of blood, a "twist" and explanation that would have made JJ Abrams' head explode, and a "girl power" ending that saw me turn to my wife and say, "did that sorority just commit mass murder?" Avoid. Avoid like the plague. To quote one of my wife's students, "I saw this movie for free and I want my money back."

I've slept on it. It was a dumb movie held up by nostolgia and the wonderful interactions with the main cast. I love them. More than any of the characters in any of the other Star Wars movies. But good lord that movie doesn't make much sense. I def enjoyed The Last Jedi more and I've seen some of the same critics who tore it apart defend this movie with "can't we come together and just enjoy this movie without worrying about all the parts that don't make sense?" My biggest gripe: How does she have Anakin's lightsaber back? Didn't it get ripped in half?

Even the cheesiest horror movie have SOMETHING redeemable or worthwhile, even if it's something you can point at and laugh. It's incredibly rare I've felt like I wasted my time and energy going to the movies with my wife. Even when we disagree (Get Out is an all-time suspense classic to me, she thought it was average, she loved the Tom Cruise Mummy while I hated it from the very first line), we end up with an inside joke or something we can needle each other with. This one? Nothing. We couldn't even make fun of it. The only other movie we both felt ripped off about seeing was mother! That movie made us immediately go back to the box office and buy a ticket for Wind River...

Super 8 is fine or whatever and that’s still somehow the best movie he’s ever made. Mission Impossible 3 is the worst one because it’s not even fun bad like MI2. People are always like “but it has the best villain of any Mission Impossible” oh wow, the greatest actor of his generation gave a good performance. JJ really nailed it!
