So I just saw this article on how Texas passed a law in 1991 to remove the word "Negro" from place names but never actually did. https://www.npr.org/2020/12/11/945040041/why-do-so-many-places-in-texas-have-negro-in-their-name-despite-a-law-against-it So what are these places and are any of them using the spanish word for black?

Ted Cruz is pretty great on Twitter when he’s not doing anything related to politics. Porn on 9/11? That’s some funny poo poo, man. But for every cool thing he does there’s 20 other tweets hot off the Fox News presses that make you remember he’s a booger-munching piece of poo poo.

Yeah Tex-mex places outside of Texas are pretty universally terrible. Even chains you’re used to are somehow worse. My parents moved to Kansas, and they complain constantly about every Tex-mex place. We’re just spoiled here.

By sheer tonnage the US military is unassailable by sea because of absolutely horrific military spending that will probably never abate. It’s an indictment of the US government and it’s the governmental equivalent of that tweet where they’re like “help me budget” but 90% of their budget is candles. Texas LOVES this kinda poo poo because we soak up a ton of military spending, especially space junk. “Lay off the Tom Clancy”? Huh? Is the US particularly vulnerable, militarily?

I'm assuming by total war he is talking scorched Earth non-occupation just military vs military engagements. Also presuming no nuclear exchanges because if we are including that then what's the point. It isn't controversial to say that the US could destroy any other military on the planet and there is the argument to be made that US vs the world the US would still win. Of course this is a pointless and stupid argument to have because then the following occupation would fail everywhere and we'd never be able to handle a planet's worth of partisans.

The American exceptionalism take for world dominance would be that our entrepreneurial spirit, rugged individuality and strong work ethic would allow us to easily conquer other nations (this is also what the Nazis thought about themselves, except replace all that with "Proper Aryan skull shape"). The normal take is "we spend more on our military than the rest of the world combined, to the great detriment of our domestic social welfare, and that would allow us to easily conquer other nations"
