Thank you for making it clear that I was correct. A hoard of a hundred or so cyclists slamming through red light without looking and playing very loud music on neighborhood streets at 10pm isn't positive action. It's a mobile party. And, if I'm honest, I have only seen the 'wish death on cyclists' meme out of the mouths of self-righteous people that don't want to follow traffic laws because they're on a bike and might be inconvenienced by something as banal as stop signs, red lights, and turn lanes than I have out of people in cars, who are upset that cyclists constantly fling themselves in front of 2 ton pieces of steel traveling at 35mph while not wearing helmets. This is likely because the people in cars don't want to hurt the cyclists.

Living in a city with a decent number of cyclists, and having been both a motorist and a cyclist at various times, here is my wisdom about cyclists: When you are on a bicycle, you must assume that all the cars want to kill you but legally get away with it. When you are in a car, you must assume that all the cyclists are sneakily trying to involve you in their suicide.

Having spent my whole life dodging cars and bicyclists I got completely surprised when passing 2 pedestrians while on a bike and one pedestrians shoves the other to the left and she in turn throws out her arm with enough force to knocks me over the guard rail

There's a country road near my home that is inexplicably popular with cyclists. It is A. Narrow. B. Very steep C. The only road leading to a very popular hiking place about 30 miles away. Like, every time we go along that road, there's a 15 car tailback because a bunch of cyclists are slogging up the that drat hill. I don't get it, I have a bike which I ride, I do not see the attraction of working my way up a nasty hill with a queue of cars behind me, when there are other options easily available.
