Despite having every second of rise of skywalker spoiled for me, I'm watching it for the first time right now... Jesus... Not a second of this thing makes any sense. I think it feels so strange because, honestly, it has a killer cast that do a great job with what they're given. Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, John Boyega, Adam Driver, etc were excellent casting choices. Rise of Skywalker, aside from being just generally crap, needlessly over-corrected from TLJ and wound up way, way worse for it. It was like swerving violently to avoid a traffic cone and ending up rolling onto your roof and then off the side of the carriageway into a river. Just hit the loving cone.
