Goons being just the right amount of smart to know about bitcoin way in advance and still make no money on it is hilarious. A bit dumber and they could've been true believers in the "currency of the future". A bit smarter and they could've have taken their smug assessment that "this dumb thing is only useful to drug dealers and money launderers " and realized thats two groups with $$MONEY$$ I'm "goons" btw.

the thing is, are BTC actually being used as a medium of regular exchange? it seems like 99% of the BTC traffic is people buying it up to hoard it, swapping with other crytos, or trying to buy illegal poo poo. I think Tesla was already told they can buy BTC if they want but it won't count as $$$ for the purposes of reporting financial reserves so they'll need the BTC equivalent of actual currency as well.
