Then he just retired on his stool even after his trainer told him he was going to give him one more round. Morrade Hakkar did better against Bernard Hopkins. This was like, Rod Salka level, which surprised me, as I thought that Yildirim could fight a little. To be fair, Yildirim hadn't fought in two years, which is crazy and clearly had an effect, but I doubt an active Yildirim would have done much better.

I’ve seen Yildirum when he was active and this time was only a marginally worse performance in that he seemed to know how little he could do whereas normally he’s a bit less aware
