I had to double-check the manga, but the anime is playing it close to the source (as best as I can tell from the janky non-Misfits translation). Now next episode is either filler or the preview is a feint, because in the manga they only spend something like 2 pages on Iruma having a party before moving to the next (long anticipated) arc.
