Buick's whole thing was/is to be a budget luxury brand, something with 3/4 of the amenities of a Cadillac at like 2/3 the price. They also tended to stick performance engines in some of the higher trim levels as well. '60s Skylarks were a decent alternative if you couldn't get a GTO, Olds 442 or Dodge Charger. The Grand National is a legendary car even if its specs nowadays are kind of middling. '90s Roadmasters are popular with enthusiasts because you can get something with an LS engine in the body of a cheap land yacht. At the same time all of GM's problems, including Cadillac's own downturn, piled onto the unfortunately earned reputation of being mainly for old people, really did a number on them over the past 30 years.

There's only the flimsiest possible whiff of an asshair of "brand recognition" that some entertainment suit could latch onto for risk mitigation in a relaunch, and Marvel as a whole is doing pretty well so why dig up that blighted corner?
