The citizens of Dubois, Idaho are dead serious about pronouncing it "Do-boys". which is kind of hilarious in its own way I got yelled at over the phone confirming billing and shipping information three separate times when I pronounced it "Do-bwah". I drove through there this spring with my parents and we stopped for gas and lunch and I warned my mom and dad, "Whatever you do, do not say "Do-bwah"." Also, Glitter Person is a great username.

Just depends on their temperament if it works or not. If you’ve got a dog that freaks out and panics when they hear fireworks, thunder shirts are absolutely worth trying before you go to the vet and ask for sedatives Imo it's pretty messed up to sedate yourself just so you don't have to put up with your dog freaking out.

It is surprising how loving strong that stuff smells when you aren’t used to it. It also covers up the smell of unclean clothes really well. Most people use too much soap for the newer washing machines and it doesn’t wash out all the way with the meager amount of water HE machines use. There's a cool natural laundry detergent that my girlfriend picked up which ALSO has an automatic measuring thing. So you turn it upside down and squeeze it and it will stop when enough comes out, which is probably like 30 or 40% of the way towards the MAX line. Yeah, most people just fill to max not realizing that max means MAX, as in the very most you can do but you can also do much less. ausgezeichnet posted:I really like the cut of this Dude's jib and want to meet the other Dem-leaner in my Chuddy little town. Perhaps they wanted to name their town after respected 19th and 20th century, civil rights activist, sociologist, socialist, historian etc.etc.etc W.E.B. DuBois. Pronounced Do-boys as above. On the other hand, that town is in Idaho, and W.E.B Dubois was a black man. So thats probably not the case.

Probably the second most iconic street in Chicago, after Lower Wacker Drive. But yeah, the same chuds would be standing and cheering if it were renamed "Ditka Lake Shore Drive".

Prepare for the "why are there so many loud booms? Are they break ins?," "shooting in neighborhood, heard a loud noise?" and also the legitimate "I was active duty in Iraq and I actually have PTSD, please stop after midnight," "my dog is barking and/or making GBS threads like a maniac because it's 3AM and you're still shooting poo poo off" posts.

Somebody found a kitten in their yard yesterday that was injured and ended up passing away. They buried the kitten in the yard and posted about it, explaining that people needed to take better care of their kittens or to be on the lookout for stray cats. The insane part was they posted a photo of this kitten and it looked like it had been flattened, like somebody squashed it with a hammer or something. I don't know why the hell they had to include that and now I'm wondering if they just killed this kitten that some neighbor kid owned or something.

You know, it says a real person posted that but I can't help but feel it's some AI desperately trying to participate in the discussion. Was a thread about somebody getting their car stolen when they left it unlocked... with the keys in it... and their other car (also unlocked) got broken into and they stole everything out of that car too.
