Babyface cash-ins on weakened opponents are always terrible and part of the reason why the babyface run after that fails is because a wrestler WWE has faith in would have a cash-in built up to instead of going 'gently caress it, we're not giving you a real push to the title, but here, have the belt!' The terrible run after the cash-in is because WWE thinks the wrestler sucks too much to actually carry their end of the feud.

Punk cashed in on a weakened Jeff Hardy when both were faces which started the Punk heel turn and it ruled.

But they try and make it seem like an actual thing a babyface would do too, and it's very bad. Like, have a heel champion duck a babyface challenger for ages and then they win MITB and say 'at the next PPV, I'm cashing in so you can't hide'.

I remember having that discussion when CM Punk cashed in on Edge after Batista had laid him out. The argument in favor for it was "The babyface looks stupid if he doesn't cash it on a beaten opponent."

Like most of the points raised in this discussion, that's really just another case for getting rid of the MitB rather than an argument against faces cashing in.

BD was even better. Big Show FINALLY beat Mark Henry after no one could, and before this he was good friends with Bryan. So it had that extra layer. I think Brian and Edge are still my favorite cash ins. RVD is the only good face cash in.

WWE moved a match from its PPV to its TV show and then advertised a second title match in less than a week. WWE tips its hand in a way AEW doesn't. AEW didn't pull Andrade vs. PAC from All Out and delay it on Rampage for a rating.

With my bad math skills between 38-40% of AEW's champions have been not white, depending on whether or not Miro is counted as white AEW has long reigns as champions so god help me I'm about to draw up the amount of PoC that WWE has had over RAW/Smackdown/NXT since AEW started I counted 42 White people and 42 People of Color in the WWE with two "I don't know" (Fabian Aichner & Shayna Baszler) that have been champions since AEW started. That doesn't account for title length or that a quarter of the people that aren't white have been fired I don't remember why I started this experiment
