Dandadan isn't quite a distillation of shounen excitement like Kaiju #8, but 25 chapters in it's managed to maintain a consistent tone and great pace while blending so many existing elements of the genre. It helps that, through some dark sorcery (and hopefully not overwork) the author manages like 2 incredible full page spreads each chapter. What a great fuckin read.

  Q on the Seaside (completed) Has the essence of a mohiro kitoh series, but never really got as pitch black. Plenty of twists and turns along the way, though. I guess my one gripe is that the ending is a touch too tidy for me,after all the messy feelings introduced, maybe the author was told to rush the conclusion or something. Still, i'd recommend it as something a bit different.

On the XBOX 360  I still want to play and beat both games even though I have nowhere to talk about either of them on here anymore since the Saints Row 4 thread in Games died a longass time ago. It features extended treatises on how to draw dicks  Note that annotation on mosaics on the page. The same chapter features the (in-manga) mangaka the protags are working as assistants for going on a weird screed against Japanese censorship laws, which would've also been a prime example to post in this thread but is very NSFW. So i looked it up and sure enough, the author also does porn. Which really shouldn't have surprised me since the whole manga is very porny, tho TBF most of the time it's focused on tits rather than dicks.
